Chili, pumpkin flavored everything, and of course apples! Who can imagine an autumn without caramel and candied apples, applesauce, apple cider and apple picking!
Not far from Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast, Quarry Hill Orchards is an apple-lover’s dream. With 90 acres of apple trees and 37 varieties, you are sure to find your favorite! In addition to apples, Quarry Hill Orchards also grows peaches, pears, cherries, nectarines and plums.
The orchard’s market is packed with apples and other fruits and vegetables, as well as gift items and wines from the adjoining Quarry Hill Winery.
The Gammie family has been on this plot of land since 1931, with the orchard officially named Quarry Hill in 1979.
