Lima is the scene of the crime for the upcoming Lima Lantern Tours! Sponsored by the Lima Allen County Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as the group Downtown Lima, this annual tour is a older-child-family-friendly excursion through the most haunted and notorious historical places in Lima, Ohio. You will hear stories to chill you, as you walk or ride your way through town.
This is the 7th Annual tour, and has become a very popular event for the early autumn. There are walking tours, and this year, the Freedom Train, a road-worthy vessel with 3 separate passenger cars will be on hand for a less-strenuous expedition.
The tours will take place on Friday & Saturday, October 3-4, 2014 and Friday & Saturday, October 17-18, 2014, and will start at 6:30pm and 7:30pm all four nights. Meet at the Premier Paint and Sip at 215 W. Market, Lima, and make sure to be a little early, because the tours leave right on time! Tickets are $12 for the Walking Tour, $22 for the Evening Train Tour, and a new Children’s Lantern Tour – only on Saturday, October 4th at 4:30pm for only $5 each.
This year, a special 7:30pm train tour only on Friday, October 3 & Saturday, October 4 will feature home-town phenom, Mentalist, Bill Gladwell. Bill is “a performer who combines hypnosis, NLP™, suggestion, psychology, directed awareness, and showmanship in order to seemingly predict and control human behavior as well as perform mental feats that
appear supernatural”. You won’t want to miss it!
