~ James Whitcomb Riley, When the Frost is On the Punkin
Ah, Autumn! It’s been lauded in verse so often, and with good reason – the hot rays of summer have subsided into warming beams on a cool day – the air has a slightly spicy smell from the falling leaves, and Jack Frost leaves glitter on the fading foliage. It gives a sweet burst of energy to those who love it, and an excuse to get out an enjoy the shorter days. To help you get out in the autumn air, we present some Fall Festivals and other Fun, near our lovely little village of Milan, Ohio.
Going on now through Sunday in nearby Norwalk, the Fall Fest Open House at Naturally Country is a beacon for those who adore adorning their nests. From 10am to 5pm, stroll this gorgeous establishment, filled to the brim with lovely floral designs, home decor and accessories, gifts, jewelry, and more. Enjoy refreshments and drawings as you envelope yourself in an abundance of beauty!
