Our favorite home and decor shop will be hosting their annual Christmas Open House from December 4th – 13th. Naturally Country will be decorated from top to bottom in gorgeous seasonal decor, featuring all of the gorgeous items available during the open house. Treats and warm drinks will be offered for patron who visit during the event, and in addition, Everything will be 10% off!

In nearby Sandusky, the Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes will fill your senses with the glory and grandeur of the past at Christmas. The tour will include a number of homes as well as the Cooke-Dorn House Historic Site and the Follett House Museum. The extra features of our Porch of Wreaths raffle, 50/50 raffle and Door Prize raffle are also back this year.

Also in Sandusky, a wonderful evening starts with, It’s a Wonderful Life “A Live Radio Play”. The beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940’s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble cast that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

In Fremont, the Lights of Spiegel Grove happens one night only – when you can get in the holiday spirit by seeing Spiegel Grove light up for Christmas with more festive lights added to the grounds this year! Sip warming hot chocolate and snack on popcorn by the campfire. See the “Hayes Train Special” model train display. South Creek Clydesdales will offer sleigh and trolley rides throughout the event for an additional fee. Christmas – themed tours of the first floor of the Hayes Home also will be offered during this event. They will last a half hour – tickets for this tour are also an additional cost.
